The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) plays a critical role in planning, designing, and managing the delivery of healthcare services for First Nations communities across British Columbia. As the first province-wide health authority of its kind in Canada, FNHA oversees a broad range of programs while supporting the health and wellness of First Nations people. Managing such responsibilities requires an efficient and reliable HR system capable of supporting over 2,000 employees. FNHA’s PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll systems are essential for managing their HR operations, from payroll processing to employee management.
Recognizing the need for modernization, FNHA partnered with Workiy Inc. to upgrade their PeopleSoft HCM system. The goal was to align the system with current industry standards, enhance functionality, and introduce new capabilities to meet FNHA’s evolving operational needs. The upgrade was also intended to address compliance requirements, improve data accuracy, and streamline key HR and payroll processes. By modernizing their system, FNHA aimed to better support their workforce and ensure efficient delivery of health services across the province.
