Cloud & Infrastructure Managed Services
Cloud estates grow by accretion. Environments outlive the projects that created them, resources are provisioned generously and never revisited, and the bill becomes something to absorb rather than manage.
We operate the estate and manage its economics together, because in cloud they are the same problem viewed from two directions.
Platforms we typically deliver this on
Scope of the service
Infrastructure operations
24/7 monitoring, patching, capacity management and incident response across cloud and remaining on-premises estate.
Security posture management
Configuration baselines, vulnerability management, identity hygiene and continuous posture monitoring.
Cost management
Rightsizing, commitment planning, orphaned-resource cleanup and chargeback reporting by team.
Resilience and disaster recovery
Backup, replication and recovery design with tested procedures and documented recovery objectives.
Infrastructure as code
Bringing manually built estate under version control so changes are reviewable and environments reproducible.
Network and connectivity
Hybrid connectivity, segmentation and traffic management across regions.
Where this is used
Representative engagements, described at the level our clients permit. Sector and shape are accurate; identifying detail is withheld.
Bringing a sprawling cloud estate under control
Departmental subscriptions had proliferated with no shared standards. We introduced landing-zone structure, policy enforcement and consolidated monitoring.
Outcome — One operating standard across departments, with spend visible per unit.
Testing disaster recovery for the first time
A documented DR plan had never been exercised. The first rehearsal found several broken assumptions, which we fixed and re-tested.
Outcome — Recovery objectives validated rather than asserted.
Handling seasonal peak
Peak trading required capacity the business did not want year-round. We implemented autoscaling with pre-peak load testing.
Outcome — Peak absorbed without provisioning for it all year.
Before you get in touch
Do you replace our cloud provider relationship?
No. Your agreements and accounts stay yours. We operate within them and work alongside your provider's support.
Can you manage a hybrid estate?
Yes. Most of our clients have on-premises systems that are not moving in the near term, and we cover both.
How quickly do cost savings appear?
Rightsizing and orphaned resources usually yield within the first two months. Commitment planning takes longer because it needs a usage baseline.
