Agents that act inside your systems, under controls you set

Multi-step automation where the interesting risk is not what the agent says but what it does. We build the guardrails first.

Agentic AI & Automation

An agent that can read is a convenience. An agent that can write to your finance system, update a case file or send correspondence on your behalf is a different category of thing, and it needs a different category of engineering discipline.

We build agentic systems with explicit boundaries: scoped permissions, approval gates on consequential actions, complete action logs, deterministic fallbacks and a stop control. The autonomy expands only as the evidence supports it.

What we do

Scope of the service

Workflow analysis and decomposition

Mapping a real process into steps an agent can own, steps that need human approval, and steps that should stay deterministic code.

Tool and system integration

Safe, typed interfaces into ERP, CRM, ITSM, case management and document stores, with least-privilege service accounts.

Guardrails and approval gates

Policy checks before action, spend and volume limits, mandatory human approval for defined action classes, and a kill switch.

Multi-agent orchestration

Coordinating specialist agents where a single agent would be unreliable, with explicit handoffs and state management.

Action logging and audit

Every decision, tool call and output recorded in a queryable trail that satisfies internal audit and freedom-of-information obligations.

Graduated autonomy

Deployment patterns that start with suggest-only, move to approve-then-act, and reach autonomous operation only for action classes with proven accuracy.

Use cases

Where this is used

Representative engagements, described at the level our clients permit. Sector and shape are accurate; identifying detail is withheld.

Enterprise back office

Reconciliation and exception handling in finance

An agent reads incoming remittance data, matches it against open items in the ERP, posts clean matches and routes exceptions to a clerk with the probable match and reasoning attached. Postings above a threshold require approval.

Outcome — Clerks working only the exceptions, with the routine volume handled and logged.

Public sector

Case triage and preparation

Incoming cases are read, classified, checked for missing documentation and pre-populated with the relevant policy references before a case officer opens them. The agent never makes the determination.

Outcome — Officers starting each case with the file already assembled.

IT service management

Resolving routine service desk requests

Password resets, access requests and standard provisioning handled end-to-end against entitlement rules, with anything unusual escalated to a human with full context.

Outcome — Routine tickets closed without a queue, and unusual ones reaching a person faster.

Questions we are asked

Before you get in touch

How do you stop an agent doing something damaging?

Least-privilege service accounts, an allowlist of permitted actions, approval gates on anything consequential, rate and value limits, and a stop control that halts execution immediately. Autonomy is earned per action class, not granted globally.

Is this different from RPA?

Yes. RPA follows a fixed script and breaks when the screen changes. Agentic systems reason about the goal and adapt — which makes them more capable and makes governance more important. We often combine the two.

What happens when the agent is unsure?

It escalates. Confidence thresholds are set per action class and tuned against real outcomes; below the threshold the work goes to a person with the agent's reasoning attached.
