How we approach it
AI consultancies that have never implemented an ERP tend to underestimate what it takes to get data out of one, or to write anything back into it safely. We have been inside these systems for seventeen years.
This practice remains a substantial part of what we do — for clients who need it in its own right, and as the foundation that makes intelligent automation possible on top of it.
What sits under Enterprise Applications
PeopleSoft & Oracle ERP
Campus Solutions, HCM and Financials — technical and functional consulting, upgrades, integration, and the work needed to make ERP data usable for analytics and AI.
ExploreEnterprise Application Management
Portfolio assessment, rationalisation and integration architecture for estates that have grown faster than anyone's understanding of them.
ExploreCustom Software Development
Custom web applications, APIs and internal platforms — built to be handed over, maintained and outlive the team that wrote them.
ExploreDigital Experience & Commerce
Drupal and Acquia platforms, commerce, mobile and UX — including the accessibility and performance obligations that come with serving the public.
ExploreQuality Engineering & Testing
Test automation, performance and accessibility testing — plus the evaluation methods AI systems need, where assertions no longer work.
ExploreCloud Modernisation
Cloud assessment, migration and modernisation — with the architectural work that makes cloud economics actually work in your favour.
ExploreThe sequence, in the order it actually happens
Understand the estate as it is
Including the customisations, the integrations and the workarounds that have accumulated around them.
Stabilise and document
Recover documentation, reduce single-person dependencies and get the environment to a known state.
Modernise deliberately
Retire customisation that standard functionality now covers, and move to supported versions and platforms.
Extend with intelligence
Add automation and AI where the process genuinely benefits, integrated through supported interfaces rather than bolted on.
Enterprise Applications in practice
Representative engagements, described at the level our clients permit. Sector and shape are accurate; identifying detail is withheld.
Integrating a provincial application service with Campus Solutions
Applicant data arriving from a central provincial service had to be matched and loaded into Campus Solutions without creating duplicate records. We built the integration using Constituent Transaction Management and Entity Registry with exception handling for ambiguous matches.
Outcome — Applications loading automatically with only genuine ambiguities reaching staff.
Discovering the real application count
The recorded inventory listed under a hundred applications; discovery found considerably more once departmental purchases were included. Several duplicated capability already licensed centrally.
Outcome — A real inventory, and duplicate licensing identified before renewal.
A grant administration system
Grant intake, assessment and reporting ran on spreadsheets and email. We built a system with configurable assessment criteria, conflict-of-interest handling and a complete audit trail.
Outcome — A defensible, auditable process replacing an untraceable one.
Rebuilding a health authority's public website
A large public health site needed a rebuild with a content model editors could work in without developer help, and accessibility built in.
Outcome — Editorial teams publishing independently on an accessible platform.
Regression coverage for a PeopleSoft estate
Every patch cycle required extensive manual regression. We automated the critical paths across student and finance modules.
Outcome — Patch cycles shortened and coverage made consistent rather than variable.
Migrating within residency constraints
Data could not leave the country. We designed a migration using in-region services with an explicit data-flow map for the privacy office.
Outcome — Cloud capability adopted without moving regulated data out of region.
