Tuning a PeopleSoft database through peak registration
Registration-period load caused timeouts every term. We profiled the workload, corrected indexing and statistics, and reworked the worst batch processes.
Outcome — Peak registration handled without emergency intervention.
Recovering a degraded availability configuration
A SQL Server availability group had been failing over unpredictably. A health check found misconfigured quorum and undersized log storage.
Outcome — Failover behaviour made predictable and tested.
Reviewing an Oracle licensing position before renewal
Deployment had drifted from entitlement across virtualised hosts. We produced a measured position and remediation options ahead of renewal.
Outcome — Renewal negotiated from a documented position rather than an estimate.
